Scarification, new kink of someone I know

So I am looking to know more about Scarification. It kinda is an extreme kink thats for sure. But Ive never been one to judge anyone on what they enjoy.
I am talking to a lady who is very much interested in this and she and I are due to get together and explore, slowly and carefully, her very avid interest.
Her interest is that she would like a facial scar, from brow line to chin line, and done with a blade, which means , cutting her! Yes, I did say, extreme kink!

Now doing this is not something I can considering lightly, I have met a few ladies who have kinks for physical pain or very intense CNC role play. To the extent that this would not be the first time I have insisted on both a video and written contract of consent! But this would be the first time, for me, where someone has asked for a permanent injury/scar. So one thing I am very much thinking about it, is the legality of it. IF anyone does have CORRECT and informed knowledge here, please reply to this post.

I have always believed that as long as it is consenting adults, and it doesnt hurt those not directly or indirectly involved, then its their choice what they do with their lives and how they enjoy themselves. But I wont put myself or anyone is danger to life to life situations. Or get myself put in prison!
I have yet to make my final decision on this , and wont until I am sure. So that is part of why I writing this post.

Please note, I am not looking for personal thoughts on this subject, if it is something that sickens you, ok thats you and your thoughts. Please keep them and any negative comments in that regard to yourself. You dont HAVE to be part of this thread or conversation. Its like this, me personally I dont enjoy , and for me, I cant see how Scat is something that can be sexual attractive and I dont personally have interest in it. BUT THATS ME. If you enjoy, fair enough, I have friends that do enjoy that. I would never watch or be involved in it. Its their thing/choice and I respect that.
